Emergency Medical Responders (EMRs) assist higher-level personnel during ambulance transport. They are compassionate and caring individuals who are interested in providing care as an assistant to the EMT during transport. Emergency Medical Responders are a vital part of the comprehensive EMS response. EMRs are responsible for driving and/or assisting with patient care during transport. They are responsible for assisting EMTs with any form of lifting, and using equipment as advised by A&M protocol.

Job Duties
As an EMR, your duties & responsibilities will include:

Driving patients (of all ages) to and from appointments.

Assisting with patient care during transport
-
Provide ancillary assistance to passengers
-
Provide assistance to emergency medical technicians during transport.

Complete accurate medical reports
-
Maintain clean vehicles & complete rig checks
-
Lifting a minimum of 100lbs using equipment
-
Follow all company guidelines when in medical vehicles.

Perform CPR, as necessary.

Be familiar with OSHA regulations and polices.
Job Requirements

qualified candidates who have:

Have a clean driving record

Can pass a background check and drug screening

Have excellent communication skills, both verbal and written

Are physically fit to lift and maneuver patients when necessary

Can work under pressure and in stressful situations

Adherence to safety protocol
